10K Bets: John Deere Classic, Will Russel Henley Get Back Into The Winning Circle?

Gambling Golf

This week on the PGA Tour, those that are still fighting for every point possible will be heading to Silvis, Illinois for the John Deere Classic. Typically the John Deere Classic is a fairly weak tournament on the PGA calendar but I’ve never seen it this poor. This tournament is ranked the 2nd worst of the season but does make for a good handicapping tournament and I tend to capitalize on it.

We are coming off a wonderful Rocket Mortgage Classic as we cashed in on Rickie Fowler outright winner (+1400) and top 20. We hope to continue this run heading into the The Open across the pond.

TPC Deere Run is a par 71 tipping out at just a hair over 7200 yards. A fairly average length for a PGA Tour course which favors those who have full control of all facets of their game.

SammyStats10K Best Bets

This week we are only targeting 4 golfers who I believe will be able to find themselves in contention from Thursday. These golfers have all the tools to win and with the lack of competition in this field, should stand out right away.

Denny McCarthy

Our first golfer we will be backing this week is Denny McCarthy. Denny has been playing very solid this season and with the lack of competition in this field, I think he has the ability to shine. This course also sets up nicely for Denny and as possibly the best putter on tour, I see him gaining strokes off the field on the green. McCarthy has 12 top 25’s in 24 starts and has made the cut in 20 of 24 events. We feel very strong about Denny this week. Denny McCarthy Top 20 (-105) Outright Winner (+1600)

Russell Henley

Another golfer we will be backing this week is Russell Henley. Henley has been extremely consistent this year on tour. Russell has played in 18 tournaments this year making the cut in 13. He also 9 top 25’s, 2 top 10’s, and a win. Again, with the lack of top 50 players in this tournament, it’s a perfect spot for Henley to shine. Russell Henley Top 20 (-120) Outright Winner (+1400)

Ludvig Aberg

The next golfer I find incredible value in this week is Ludvig Aberg. Ludvig is the newest phenom on the PGA Tour and has been standing out in every tournament. He has been playing some really exceptional golf against the best competition the PGA Tour has to offer. In 3 events, Aberg has made the cut in all 3 as well as top 25 in 2. Coming off a nice week at the Rocket Mortgage, I like him to continue this good play. Ludvig Aberg Top 20 (-115) Outright Winner (+2800)

Adam Hadwin

Our last golfer we will be backing this week is Adam Hadwin. Hadwin has been flying under the radar for most of the season but playing actually very solid. Adam is coming off a very nice week in Detroit with a runner-up finish losing in the playoff to Rickie Fowler. He had all parts of his game firing on all cylinders and I see that continuing this week again. Hadwin also has great value so I will take a shot at him this week. Adam Hadwin Top 20 (+165) Outright Winner (+2800)

Enjoy the John Deere Classic & Always Wager Responsibly.
