I have been sent on a work trip (sigh) this week in which I’ll be traveling on Sunday… The good news is my destination is the gambling capital of the world, Las Vegas! Even more good news is that my flight will touch down in Sin City before the early slate of games starts. In preparation for this trip, I’ve put in the work to secure as much profit as possible. Vikings ML
I get why the line sits this way. The Vikings are coming off an emotional win in Atlanta with new QB Josh Dobbs. They are banged up and catch a Saints team that is heating up. New Orleans has won back-to-back games. I know Zimmer is no longer coaching the Vikings and Sean Payton has departed from the Saints, but this series still has the feel of a rivalry. There’s still a lot of animosity from previous Saints & Vikings matchups. Cam Jordan obviously doesn’t like the Vikings and he will pay for his disrespect towards Kirk Cousins on Sunday.
Chargers +3
If there’s one thing I love it’s a home dog. LA is coming off a big prime-time win on the road where their defense shined. I’m not nearly as big on the Lions as the rest of the country. The way I see it, the Lions are still the Lions until proven otherwise… AKA win a playoff game, then we’ll talk. Everything until then is a mirage.
Cowboys -16
Yes, it is a big number, no I do not care. Fade Tommy DeVitto. Simple as that. Cowboys are coming off a loss in Philly, and will be highly motivated for another divisional tilt. I like the Cowboys BIG.
Falcons ML
The Falcons are playing for more at this point in the season. I don’t care if Kyler Murray is coming back. The Cardinals are not good. Arthur Smith has shaved his mustache, which can only mean two things: 1) Bijan Robinson will get more than 11 carries this week and 2) Kyle Pitts will have more than 5 targets. The answer is simple to most people. Give the ball to your athletes. There’s no way this backfires, right? Arthur wouldn’t do that to me…
Raiders ML
Betting this game requires a serious eye test for both teams. There is clearly a new energy in Las Vegas (besides me) in interim head coach Antonio Pierce. While the Jets defense has been lights out, I still trust the weapons for the Raiders to do more than Wilson and the Jets when it comes to moving the ball and putting up points.
Final Thoughts
