This week we head to Cromwell, CT for the Travelers Championship. Despite just one week after the U.S Open, the field is the 4th best this year which should shape up for an excellent golf tournament. TPC River Highlands is a course that has hosted this tournament for many years and seems to be a fan favorite for all involved! TPC is the 4th shortest course on the Tour tipping out at 6800 yards. This allows players to be extremely tactic with their shot selections and also brings much of the field in contention as you don’t need to have much length here as a strength.
We are coming off a VERY profitable U.S Open hitting 3 of 4 top 20 bets and our only top 10 bet as well as a Friday morning live bet on Clark outright. We are hoping to keep this train rolling this week.
This week, as many others, we’ll be finding value in our top 20 plays as well as outright winners. The average winner at the travelers in the past years has been 35/1 odds, so we’ll definitely be targeting those that bring the value. This is likely due to the fact the course is so short and brings average driving length but precision in iron players into contention.

We will be playing 5 top 20’s along with outright winners.
Xander Schauffele
For starters, we are going with a guy who’s had plenty of success here in CT. Xander is also coming off a very nice finish at the U.S Open and has been playing very well this season. He’s shown he can plot his way around this course and I see him doing just that this week. I really love him this week as I see him getting into contention right from the jump.
Xander Schauffele Top 20 (-125) Outright Winner (+1600)
Viktor Hovland
What more is there to say about Vik? He’s been a cash cow this season for us and I don’t plan on going away from him anytime soon. He’s shown week after week he can play a high level of golf no matter the tournament or the venue. Hovland is unbelievably consistent and as a golf handicapper, that’s who we target. I see nothing changing for him this week and wouldn’t bat an eye to see him in contention yet again.
Viktor Hovland Top 20 (+100) Outright Winner (+2000)
Tommy Fleetwood
The next golfer we’ll be backing this week is a guy who’s had some recent success on the PGA Tour and seems to be trending in the right direction. Fleetwood forced a playoff in a 2nd place finish at the RBC Canadian Open and finished in the top 10 at the U.S Open last week! Tommy has his game right where he wants it I can see another strong finish here at TPC River Highlands.
Tommy Fleetwood Top 20 (+145) Outright Winner (+2500)
Matt Fitzpatrick
Next up we’ll be looking at another euro golfer in Matt Fitzpatrick. Fitzy has been as steady as they come this year as it’s easily been his best tour of his career. He constantly is putting himself in the running and come this weekend we’ll continue to target him. This course really favors all parts of his game and I don’t see any reason to avoid him this week. Fitzpatrick has little to no flaws and I see him playing some solid golf this week.
Matt Fitzpatrick Top 20 (+150) Outright Winner (+4000)
Tony Finau
Lastly, we are going with Tony Toe Tap. Tony’s value this week is SHOCKING and I’ll be one to capitalize on it. Tony, as we know, has all the tools to win on the PGA Tour, really at any venue. He has great length off the tee, a lovely iron game as well as an above average short game. This definitely has the vintage Tony Finau week written all over it. Again, for the value we simply cannot pass him up.
Tony Finau Top 20 (+130) Outright Winner (+3500)
Folks, enjoy the Travelers Championship and as always, please wager responsibly.
