Producer Cam
Producer Cam with Mariano Sori-Marin and the It’s a Bit Boys!

For the 3rd edition of 10K Profile, I asked a few questions to the one and only, Producer Cam.

Producer Cam gets his name from being the LEAD producer (I pinch hit but only out of pity on their end) of 10K’s “Its a Bit” podcast. In addition to that podcast, he’s also a part of the 10K Bets team, along with Marlow and Renz.

Cam is one of my best friends. He is the reason I’m with 10K today. Our friendship started off through social media and he ended up sharing a link to apply with the brand on Facebook. I said fuck it and did it. Somehow, I was hired on. It was not until May of 2021 when we did a Minnesota Wild watch party that I met Cam in person. Some 11 months after I had befriended him on social media. Since then, he’s been like a brother to me and I could not be more thankful to have him in my life.

Enough of that sappy shit. He is what Producer Cam had to say in response to my hard-hitting questions.

Question 1 – How did you get involved with 10K Takes?

“I actually was just scrolling through Twitter and saw an ad that they were hiring for bloggers and decided to apply. I was writing for a different company, so I sent some samples over and boom, the rest is history. By far the best decision I have ever made! Funny story actually… I applied and got hired within two days and then the next day I went down to the studio to meet the guys. Next thing I know I am playing “Dill Dough” in a presidential campaign skit 😂.”

Question 2 – What is your favorite memory so far?

“My favorite 10K memory has to be when Jake, Jack, and I went to buffalo for the Vikings game this year. The whole trip was electric whether it was getting blackout drunk in the Detroit airport or it was watching Jake get tased at the bar. Buffalo is such an amazing football atmosphere and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.”

Question 3 – Favorite bit?

“This one has some recency bias but currently my favorite bit in my #HockeyGuy bit. My whole life I have been a diehard basketball fan (I still am) but I finally decided it was time to follow hockey more in-depth and I do not regret it one bit. More specifically my favorite #HockeyGuy bit is impulsively spending $300 on a Ryan Reaves jersey just because Jack and Zane tweeted at me from the 10K account and told me to do so. When the boss tells you to do something you just do it I don’t make the rules.”

Question 4 – Favorite part of being with the company

“My favorite part of being with 10K is by far the lifelong friendships I have made. It is crazy to think that just two and a half years ago I had no idea who these guys were and now I live with them and they are my best friends.”

Question 5 – What’s the best part of being the producer for the It’s a Bit podcast?

“For me, the best part of being the producer of “It’s a Bit” is having a wide variety of guests on and learning about their careers. Another favorite part is learning how to edit, it is such a nice skill to have and something I can use to post other content from the 10K socials.”

Question 6 – Will Bubba’s hernia ever be fixed?

“I probably have a better chance of having sexual relations with Jennifer Aniston than Bubba having hernia surgery. Although Bubba does have an alleged girlfriend who lives in Vegas so if he truly does love her should probably get that taken care of. It’s tragic really, you can literally see his hernia sticking out through his shirt. It looks like it’s about to explode.”

Bubba’s Hernia is a Massive L on Cam’s Scale

Question 7 – Favorite podcast guest?

“This is a tough one because we have had so many great guests. I would say it has to be Kirk Cousins though. I just remember the look on all of our faces when we saw that Kirk fucking Cousins joined our call. He was awesome to talk to and we look forward to working with him in the future. I will add one of our most recent guests, Mariano Sori-Marin. He is one of the funniest dudes I have ever met. My stomach hurt from laughing throughout the whole interview.”
