Here’s 16 Times People Thought Famous Logos Were Something Different

We’ve all been the victim of misheard song lyrics at one point, but mistaken logos is a thing as well. Growing up I was very confused by why Major League Baseball’s logo was a duck. I don’t even want to admit how old I was until I realized that it wasn’t, but I will tell you that I had access to the internet by then and that by no means was the case of my entire childhood.

I was even more embarrassed when I was told that the logo is not only a person at bat, but very likely former Minnesota Twins’ great Harmon Killebrew. (Though this is apparently not true).

Here’s 16 Times People Thought Famous Logos Were Something That They Weren’t

1. I mean, come on… just look at it and tell me I’m wrong.

Everything about this screams duck. The beak is faced to the right with its mouth open, it’s just casually floating around. The tail was a little confusing to me but who was I to question the MLB? Still don’t see it? Maybe the visual below will help.

See? That is a duck. A full-on, floating around, D-U-C-K DUCK. It’s right ducking there. But what I learned was there are a ton of people who have mistaken logos or pictures. Below are some of my favorite.

2. One of the funniest mistaken logos is the KFC man’s head-to-body ratio

My wife just confessed that for her entire childhood she thought Colonel Sanders’ bow tie was his whole body and now I can’t stop seeing a tiny stick body every time I look at him. pic.twitter.com/qVad6t93SA

3. I also completely thought this was their logo

4. Wanna know how James Bond got these scars?

5. I’m struggling with this one a bit. Can you see it?

6. Remember that time he shot in man in Anchorage, just to watch him die?

7. Also struggling with this one a bit. But maybe?

8. So not really a logo but I’m rolling with it anyway. This one took me a moment but now it’s for sure the Cookie Monster

12. Hahahahahahahahahah. Oh my goodness, I’ve never seen the Lion this way.

13. Slippery when wet

14. Arby’s, we’ve got the… whales jumping out of the ocean

15. That would be some very aggresive hair

16. NEVER stop fora ma n with a purse hitchhiking. Or do, maybe he just needs a ride, I don’t know

I was in at least 3 people’s Myspace Top 8. I have as many NBA Championships as Tom Brady. I’m probably too old to be here. @NickLewis37
