Benji solidified the hot corner for the Aces with gold glove defense and was a fixture in the top half of the lineup too.
Drake Bakkum (Sophomore)
Drake was an important piece to the Aces last summer as he appeared in 11 games and was at the park everyday. His best performance came against Blaine (a top tier team in the state) as he went 4 innings and gave up 0 earned runs.
Braydon Buttweiler (Sophomore)
The southpaw put together one of the Aces best season as a pitcher. He ended the year with a solid 2.17 ERA and a 13 k/9.
Jon Prokop (Sophomore)
St. Agnus HS
University of Mary
Prokop can play all three outfield positions and help the Aces on the mound. Good speed and great raw power helped boost the Aces lineup in ‘21.
Charlie Hora (Sophomore)
Gustavus Adolphus College
Chucky bursted onto the scene not only as a pitcher but as a hitter too. He hit .368 with 2 home runs and 10 doubles. He also threw 28 innings and had 36 punch outs.
Nolan Belschner (Junior)
Olivet Nazarene university
Belschner only appeared in one game last season with the Aces but is set to be back with the boys this Summer. A key part of the rotation.
Dylan Irving (Senior)
Plagued by some elbow discomfort, Irv didn’t get to toe the rubber as much as he would have liked but when healthy he is a solid left hander that knows how to get guys out. Irving should have a strong campaign for the Auggies this Spring.
