Lil Dicky, Jackin’ It Across All Trades.

Everything Else

Dave Burd aka Lil Dicky is a man of many talents. He is an actor, comedian, overall genius, and most importantly, is the only man I am willing to die on this hill for. “Dave” is hands down the best show on television right now and he deserves more credit than he gets.

Season 2 of his show Dave came out with a bang in the premiere. Telling the tale of a man and his struggle being creative all while trying to capitalize on K-pop’s success. They asked the hard hitting questions such as: are there more black people or gingers in Korea? Can we cream less? Is a fish an animal? But the most underrated part of the show is that he gets you to buy into the characters he develops while tossing incredible comedic timing.

“I’ve never heard of this guy.”

If you’re not familiar with lil dicky’s work then you are a dipshit. Plain and simple. His music carried me all the way through college. Drinking a 36 pack of Boxer light wishing I had followed my dream of a comedic rap career. By the way I actually did this in high school. Not to plug my own stuff but we song called “Inside you” by True Trippa Oh. (if anyone can find this I’ll Venmo you 20$).

I cried of laughter in the opening of the season 1 finale with his song Jail, a song in which he tells the story of a man going to prison for exposing himself to minors for the art of the joke.

The marketing for this show would lead you to believe that this show is just about poop, masturbating, and dick jokes. It is, but there is a lot of heart behind it. I can say in all sincerity that this is the only dick I can present to my wife without disgust.
