Miguel Sano’s Time is Up

Baseball MLB Twins

Miguel Sano used to be one of the guys who was supposed to be a star. It was him and Buxton. Now he shouldn’t even be on the field. He is worthless and his time is up.

Miguel Sano is bad

I used to be a huge Miquel Sano supporter, stood by him when they sent him down to single-A years back, and always believed in him. However, It is getting to the point now where he truly brings nothing to the table. He is almost an automatic out when he gets to the plate. He is batting a whopping .127 currently, with 33 strikeouts and 3 home runs. The one thing he should be able to do is now seemingly impossible to him. Hitting home runs is what he has exceeded at and now, he can’t even do that.

Miguel’s OPS and Slugging % are at all-time lows and this supposed superstar is looking like his time is almost over in this league. There is nothing suggesting any reason the twins should keep him going forward or even play him at the moment. Literally, the only thing he can do at the moment is take walks. Oh boy, how fun.

I was at the gym the other day and the game was on. Miguel was up in the ninth inning and a guy at the gym looked at me and said, “Well this is an out.” Everyone knows at this point. It is sad, really.

Just look at that, this is how bad he has been. That is just terrible, we should send him down like we did in the past.

I have a Sano jersey, my only Twins jersey at the moment. I plan on getting a Kiriloff jersey at some point and when I do, the Sano jersey may need to be burned. Hard to support the stiff much longer, of course, I think most everyone is cheering for him to be good, but man it is getting hard to support him much longer.

What’s Next for Sano and the Twins?

I know he’s recently hit a home run and he has the right to be hyped, but we lost like 4 games in a row and he acted like we won game 7 in the playoffs. Chill man, that was a rare hit for you. It is good to see, but game after game of losing, it gets a little annoying when something like this happens. Another bad loss yesterday and things overall just suck right now. This the time we need someone to step up.

Every single Twins fan wants to see Sano do well, even me, but it is getting old. Game after game, at-bat after at-bat. There haven’t been any signs of improvement and it is not encouraging. Is it an overreaction? Maybe it is. At the moment I am just calling it like I see it. Sano needs to step it up, for his own sake and for the teams. Let’s hope things will be turned around or Miguel Sano’s time will be up soon.
