On the 11th “Wild” Day of Christmas

Hockey NHL Wild

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and with that brings us just 11 days shy of Christmas. So, that being said, let’s continue on with our “wild” 12 days of Christmas!

On the 11th day of Christmas my true love gave to me, a story about tonight’s game in Minnie!

A cool December night brings the Detroit Red Wings to the Xcel Energy Center for a battle you won’t want to miss.

Sitting at 15-11-2 (32pts) the Minnesota Wild play host to a Detroit team that has been spoiling the party for teams as of recent (except for last night). But will that play out tonight? Led by Kirill (35pts), Zuccarello (29pts) and Boldy (21pts), the hometown favorites look to clip the wings while extending their winning streak to three.

Following a game versus the Hurricanes that saw them fall 1-0, the Red Wings fly into St. Paul with one mission. To win this competitive matchup and stop the momentum. While he’s been quiet as of late, Dylan Larkin is still putting up impressive numbers while leading the Detroit team with 27pts. Not far behind Dominik Kubalik has been continuing to play consistent hockey while tallying 25pts this season.

While it’s still unknown who will be between the nets for both teams tonight, one thing is for certain. It’s going to be a game you WON’T want to miss.

Now, the moment we have ALL been waiting for, my prediction…

Minnesota Wild: 5

Detroit Red Wings: 2

I strongly feel that the Minnesota team is going to continue to fly high into the Christmas holiday with another win, extending their streak. Kirill will continue to stack points, Boldy will continue to shine and Sammy Walker will notch his first career NHL goal and point.

Puck drop at the Xcel Energy Center is at 6:30PM CST between the Minnesota Wild and Detroit Red Wings. LET’S. GO. WILD!
