Scum of the MLB

MLB

WTF are the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox doing? This week both Detroit and Boston added the masterminds behind the 2017 Houston Astros cheating scandal. We can thank Rob Manfred’s incompetence for the possibility of these new hires.

On Oct 30th, the Detroit Tigers announced the signing of Ex Houston Astros World Series Championship* cheater, A.J. Hinch as their Manager moving forward. Are you seriously going to try and tell me that there were not better options out there.

Even if you you thought this was the best option out there, why do you even bring this controversy to your franchise. Detroit has finished dead last in the AL Central 3 of the last 4 years. I guess you can only go up from here?

Boston on the other hand… this might even be more of a head scratcher. Today they announced they are rehiring Alex Cora as their Manager. They literally fired him less than a year ago for participating in a cheating scandal. Seriously? Nut up and stand by your decision to let this clown rot on his couch while the MLB moves past the mess he created.

Nobody feels bad for these two. I mean think about it, Rob Manfred decided that the most severe punishment he could give to these guys was a 1 year suspension. Turns out that was actually a gift. In total, they missed 60 games, not even equivalent to half of a normal season. I wouldn’t doubt that any of the managers in the MLB would rather of sat out 2020 anyway. It’s no question that A.J. Hinch and Alex Cora are the scum of the MLB, but Rob Manfred is right there with them.
