It’s officially the second day of spring in Minnesota. One of my favorite things about spring is that there are so many wonderful flowers blooming. I figured it would be neat if I showed some photos of my favorite spring wildflowers in Minnesota.

These Pasque Flowers are really pretty. I like the white and yellow combination. I like this one, but it’s not my favorite.

I really like these Marsh Marigold Flowers as well. The way sun reflects of them is fascinating to me, but they still aren’t my favorite.

My favorite Flower of them all is Marc-André Fleury and he’s blooming in Minnesota! Billy G came through again by swinging a blockbuster trade for the future Hall of Fame goaltender Monday morning. Fleury is coming to the Wild in exchange for a conditional draft pick, a second that can turn into a first if the Wild go to the conference finals and Fleury wins at least four games in the playoffs.

Fleury hasn’t been the best version of himself this season, but that’s because he’s played for the horseshit Blackhawks. He should rebound quite nicely behind the Wild’s great team defense. This is a great trade for the Wild.

The Wild couldn’t beat Fleury in the playoffs last year, so they followed the old saying, “if you can’t beat them, join them.” However, rather than joining Fleury, they forced Fleury to join them. I’m absolutely ecstatic, and you should be too. This move bumps the Wild’s chances of a deep playoff run significantly, and that’s why the flower is my favorite spring wildflower in Minnesota.

Flowers are blooming in Minnesota this spring, and we can’t wait to see how long they will last.
