What the hell did Stephen A. Smith say now?

Entertainment Everything Else

Just when we thought this guy couldn’t be any dumber, he goes on LIVE television and says some shit like this?

Somebody get your mans over here. Live television! ESPN consciously lets this assclown on LIVE TELEVISION every single day! Look, as far as the Youtube title of Stephen A. Smith saying “racist” comments, I think that’s a bit of a stretch. What he said wasn’t necessarily racist, at least in my opinion. However, what he said was fucking stupid and bungling. Seriously, if we haven’t heard enough dumb shit from Stephen A over the last decade, this may be right up there with his worst takes of all time… and trust me, I know about bad takes. While he’s making over $12 Million annually for spewing bullshit, I’m over here writing this blog with a beer (IPA for the haters) in hand, eating some 7th Avenue Pizza, and living my best life on this fine evening. Now let’s take a look at what stirred up “Cancel Culture Twitter.”

The Question

So unless you have been in a coma the last two days, you have probably heard the rumblings of what Stephen A. Smith said when he was asked “Is it good for the MLB that Ohtani is the #1 attraction?” Where the hell do I even begin? There are so many amazing non-American baseball players in the MLB and he wants to bitch about Ohtani being the face because he can’t speak English and he needs an interpreter? I need a fucking interpreter to comprehend some of the stupid shit that comes out of his mouth on a daily basis. Oh and guess what else Steven, he tries hard to learn and speak English often!!

So what excites fans of baseball? Home runs, obviously (Derby was sick btw). You know who the top 3 HR leaders are this year thus far? Shohei Ohtani, Vlad Guerrero Jr., and Fernando Tatis Jr. You know what they all have in common? Besides probably swinging a huge hammer in the pants and at the plate, THEY’RE ALL NOT AMERICAN!

Now, I will say, while I’m happy he and his halfwit sidekick, Max Kellerman, aren’t sucking off LeBron James or talking about the Dallas Cowboys in July, I’m confused as to why this would be asked in the first place. I truly cannot begin to fathom why it would ever be a bad thing for the MLB to have a guy who clocks 100+mph on the mound and leads the league in Dongs to be the face of the MLB. It’s clear as day that he’s one of the best pitchers and hitters in the entire game of baseball. We have seen nothing quite like him and the only player who compares with the level of skill in their versatility is a guy that went by the name of Babe Ruth. Maybe you’ve heard of him?

The Problem

I get it, Stephen A. Smith is doing his job by giving a controversial opinion. He makes a lot of money giving those preposterous statements each and every day, BUT it’s not all Stephen A’s fault. Why? Well here’s why. I’ve been on record saying that the MLB is the most inept league in all of sports entertainment at marketing their product and their star players. They are even worse than the NHL which is really saying something (fuck you Bettman.) The youth in the MLB is better than it’s ever been. Fernando Tatis Jr., Vlad Guerrero Jr., Ronald Acuna Jr., Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and I haven’t even started to name pitchers yet.

These motherfuckers have had one of the greatest baseball players to ever play, playing in the Los Angeles market, and hardly anyone knows how great that player is. If you don’t know who I’m referring to, you are proving my point. It’s Mike Trout, by the way. All we see is an occasional highlight of bat flip by Fernando Tatis Jr. or a stat about how mesmerizingly good Jacob deGrom is. And you know what’s funny about that? You never see it on ESPN, you see it on fucking Twitter from guys like Jomboy or Jared Carrabis. When we are getting our news from those two, the problem isn’t the product, it’s the MLB. So with that being said, I can’t just blame Stephen A. Smith for being so incompetent because he’s only going off of what the MLB is giving him… and that’s absolutely nothing worth a damn.

Stephen A. Smith’s worst takes

We didn’t even touch on the Nigerian basketball slander this moron just said. That and many others that he and his lackey Max Kellerman spout out. So, just for fun, I figured I’d share a compilation of the worst takes Stephen A. Smith has ever had. While I think Max Kellerman actually might be worse than Stephen A. Smith, this article is about our guy SAS. Don’t you dare even bring up Skip Bayless to me either. I know there are more so if you can think of any, please reply to 10K Takes and let us know which ones were the best (but actually the worst).

Also, Stephen A, STAY OFF THE WEEDDDDDDDDDDDD!
