Honestly… Who the hell are the 2020 Vikings??? Stop me if you’ve heard this before: “Yeah, the Vikings played a good game. We just made too many mistakes at the end.” That same sentence could be applied to just about every Vikings game. The same shitty reasons why we lose: missed opportunities within reach (Kris Boyd dropped an interception which would have sealed the game) and dumb Special Teams mistakes. I mean for real, the same player that dropped the pick to win it also committed penalties on BACK-TO-BACK plays in the 2nd quarter.
This was supposed to be a game that the Vikings should cruise in. After losing Dak Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys were supposed to be done. They also came in fresh off their Bye Week, if that matters? I just felt like we were all watching the same thing again when the Cowboys got the ball down by 4. Dallas coach Mike McCarthy did a good job getting his team ready, acting out of character, and surprising his team the night before in a meeting with an interesting tactic to rile up his team for a big game.
Just our luck! Next into town come the Carolina Panthers. Teddy Bridgewater, who we all know and love will most likely be back at quarterback. Revenge game anyone?
