YEAH WILD YEAH!

Hockey NHL Wild

What a WILD week for our Minnesota Wild as they went 3-0-1 while continuing to gain ground on both the Stars and the Jets! (I truly think Dallas forgot how to play hockey…idiots)

With two months to go in the season, the Wild are finally starting to find their groove, and what a time to do so. Wins left and right, Fleury bounces back after a not so impressive stretch, and Hartman finally gets back to where he belongs. Life is just amazing.

The Past Week in a Nutshell

Nashville (3) vs. Minnesota (4)

With goals from Kaprizov, Hartman, and Duhaime the Minnesota Wild gave a devastating blow to Preds as the season starts to dwindle. A blow like the Tiger King ending up in jail.

LA Kings (1) vs. Minnesota (2)

Kevin “Fifi” Fiala hoped to bring the revenge tour to St. Paul only to be held to 3 shots. Gustavsson was red hot stopping 33 of 34 saves. Unreal brick wall.

Minnesota (2) @ Columbus (0)

We played like complete a$$ against an a$$ of a team but hey, we won! And! Fleury got his mojo back. YEAH BABY YEAH!

Minnesota (1) @ Toronto (2) OT

A hard-fought game that ended in an overtime loss is a loss I’ll take any day of the week.

Trade rumors leading up to the deadline

A few days back Brock Boeser of the Vancouver Canucks was linked to a homecoming trade to the Minnesota Wild. According to his agent, it’s been said that Billy G is trying to make the trade possible but who knows? Wouldn’t that be something though? A homecoming back to the great State of Hockey where he grew to love the game? I can see it.

On another trade-related note we were recently in the middle part of a trade that saw Dmitry Orlov and Garnet Hathaway of the Capitals get shipped to the Bruins for a few picks along with forward Craig Smith. Nothing exciting on our end except for another draft pick and holding some salary.

Anything else??? No.

What’s to Come

Following the game against Toronto the Minnesota Wild will play host to the Blue Jackets Sunday night as well as games against the Islanders on 2/28 and the Canucks on 3/2. Will the Canucks be the last game for the team and a glimpse at his new team? Only the hockey Gods and Billy G know the answer to that.
